What pressure washer should I buy?

I’m getting my carbon black x5 ceramic coated with IGL Kenzo. Plan is to pressure wash and towel dry every couple of weeks.

I’d love to get some suggestions for what pressure washer to get.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Will it be exclusively for use on your car? I have a Generac 3400 psi washer that I use on my car, but it has the capability to dial down the psi for washing cars, etc. However, I didn't buy this to wash cars, I bought it for pressure washing my driveway, patio, etc...

If all you need is to wash your car, I would strongly suggest buying an electric one - they're easier to maintain, and are quicker to setup / break down after you're done. To wash a car, you don't need anything that has high PSI output because it's not like you'll be blasting mold/dirt off of concrete.

I have gas powered but also use to clean deck, walkways and house siding. For those your better with additional gas HP.

I’ve had several gas PW’s and if you’re doing houses, driveways, etc., you will need that power and volume. However, I will never own another one, and just hire that work done. As far as a nice general purpose machine an electric is the way to go. This one is really all you need and for $120 will serve you well. I have an older model and it has been quite reliable.

Thanks, guys. I've heard good things about both of these. The plan is to get a pressure washer and then dry with a leaf blower. I don't want to spend all the extra money on the foam gun but wondering if theres a cheaper way to get the soap on there using some device. Since it will be ceramic coated, I am hoping that the soap will be used maybe once a month but I might rinse it off with just water 2-3 times a month.

Foam guns are an inexpensive addition as long as you have a pressure washer. Cheap way to get soap on a car? A sponge.

All the pressure washers work just as fine for the car as they do for other cleaning jobs around the yard. If I were you, I'd go for the Simpson Cleaning, the Generac, or the Homodox as these are rated at higher PSI. Oh, btw, congrats on your acquisition!

I'm considering getting a pressure washer too. It would be great if I could get one to serve two purposes, washing my car and cleaning my concrete driveway.

I have this one as well and use it with a foam cannon. It is great and cheap. Mine has lasted several years and I still love it.

I use the cheapest Ryobi 1600psi/1.2gpm that they have at Home Depot. With it I picked up a quality hose, gun, and foam cannon from MTM Hydro. If the pressure washer fails (it's on year 2 now) dropping like $100 on a new one isn't the end of the world. Meanwhile the quality hose, gun, and foam cannon should last a decade or more.

I've used Ryobi's, SunJoe, Kranzle, but without a doubt performance for the money it is hard to beat the AR-630 TSS with a mosmatic wand. I have a custom setup with DI tanks installed for rinsing and this system by far is the most bang for the buck in my opinion. Thanks to obsessed garage and Matt's reviews of all the pressure washers, it really helped me hone in and find a unit that could be kept long term and that is completely rebuildable if need be. The Kranzle lines are the Ferraris of pressure washers but you got to pay the premium for it and in my eyes the AR meets or exceeds specific aspects of output that can't justify the price of the Kranzle.
