Anyone suffer from a huge dip when attempting to power out of corners with less than a half tank?

you sure its not traction control taking over? Totally disable DTC and then try it again.

I should have specified in my initial post that the lack of power occurs with traction control on and off (DTC and completely disabled).

The car gets massive fuel starvation at anything under a third of a tank.

It could also be high coolant temps cutting your boost. You build up all this heat prior to the corner, slow down in the corner and the radiator doesn't work as well...coolant crosses the 244 degree magic number...and boost is cut. You could test that by logging coolant temps. But if the problem goes away on a full tank....it's likely just starvation.

That's the problem! Hopefully a new fuel pump will stop the madness.

Bubbles - got my new fuel pump installed yesterday. Apparently they finally released the third gen pumps since up until now, the service campaign had been on hold. This gybes with Orb's experiences with BMW Canada.

The midrange torque is MONSTEROUS now. Seriously, I was taken aback when I finally found an empty road and got to go full throttle. I'm scheduled for 4 more track days this month, so I'll comment on corner exit power issues when I get back.

I got the pump and not the 29.2 update. Win win!

Fuel pick up has nothing to do with a pump..if it cant pull gas out of the tank..then you get no gas to pump. How about putting baffles in the bottom of the gas tank...or putting in a fuel cell.

if it makes you feel better i have lack of power issues in all sections of the track. i think the issue is the 200ftlb torque the motor makes

fuel starvation... happened to me couple of times... it sucks BIG time.
