>>>>> 2009 Euro Road Trip !!!!
NINE COUNTRIES IN NINE DAYS!!
![]() Ok everyone, I know its early days and I'm still buzzing from last weekend's Nurburgring, Zolder, Gent road trip ![]() The idea is that we make our way over to the Nurburgring as before and have a day and a half ripping up the Ring tarmac. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Please note that this is only an idea at this stage and therefore I am open to your views and opinions on routes, destinations, and timetable. ![]() Calais to Spa-Francorchamps (213 miles) Spa-Francorchamps to Nurburgring (73 miles) Enjoy the late afternoon/evening session at the Nordscheilfe Full day at the Nordscheilfe ripping up the tarmac BMW Museum in Munich (330 miles) Neuschwanstein Castle (Germany's most photographed attraction, 83 miles) Davos in Switzerland (116 miles) Drive the Stelvio Pass (65 miles) Lake Garda in Italy (149 miles) Drive along the San Bernadino Pass back into Switzerland (188 miles) Drive through Liechtenstein (73 miles) Continue on to Lake Constance on Swiss/German/Austrian border (45 miles) Autobahns to Luxembourg (343 miles) Drive to Calais (270 miles) Eurotunnel and then home Total trip around 2,100 miles having visited 9 countries ![]() That's 9 countries in 9 days!!! So who would be up for this? ![]() ![]() Only the hardcore need only reply... ![]() Last edited by booforty; 09-27-2008 at 09:25 AM.. |

Yeah, the idea of going alone is very appealing, but... getting permission,... for a 9day trip,... with a bunch of lads,... some of whom are described as "nutters and characters" will be tough!

Its too early to decide dates yet as its such a long way off. It will most likely be during the Summer of 2009.
Yes wives and g/f's are welcome!! Mine came on the Ring trip and she loved it ![]() ![]() The purpose of this thread is not to go into immense detail and decide dates just yet. Its to gauge general interest for doing such a trip and an opportunity to listen to others' thoughts and ideas. My proposed route is just a personal preference but I tried to suggest a route that I think would interest others and provide some great driving roads! ![]() |
