Road Hazzard warranty ???

Just wanted to get some feedback on here regarding the warranty. Well today while bring my car in for service they discovered a screw on the boardline sidewall. So now I have to pay $300 for a new front Michelin. Anyway the dealer sells the RH warranty for 3 yr coverage for $650. And for another $70 (I think) you can purchase the rim coverage. So now I will end up spending over a grand today...this sux. But I know the screw in the tire situation will arise again, for all the construction & traffic here in the Tampa Bay area.

i got the wheel/tire coverage but haven't experienced any issues yet to where i'd need to use it (knocks on wood). from my understanding....they'll cover any wheels/tire you have as long as it meets manufacture specs...ie no big wheel tires on the e92

I assumed a lease of a 2007 335i sedan last month and the previous the guy who's lease I assumed had purchased this Rim and tire road hazzard warranty from BMW Canada, so it was transfered over to me. As soon as I got home with the car (Car was in Toronto and I'm in Montreal, so drove it almost 550KM back to Montreal) I noticed a bubble on the front left tire. Went to my local dealer and they ordered and installed a brand new tire with $0 to pay. I was happy!!! The warranty was through BMW Canada and cost him almost $1000 CDN with the taxes.

Anyone know of a reputable third party company offering tire/wheel warranty other than Paragon as they don't do business in Maryland? Thanks.
