MHD Stage 1 vs Stage 1+

I've done some research but could not get a good answer. What are the differences between MHD Stage 1 and Stage 1+, or even Stage 2 and Stage 2+.

I get that Stage 1+ means you should get a FMIC, but why does it make 30 more HP than Stage 1? It doesn't sound like it runs higher boost, is is just specifically tuned to get more power from your FMIC?

You can run more timing at the same boost level with lower intake temps (from the intercooler) to make additional power.

1+ most definitely runs higher boost too. Stage 1 peaks around 13 psi and stage 1+ peaks around 16...

Stage 1+ runs more torque at low rpm than Stage 1 i think, same with Stage 2 compared to Stage 2+. That's why you need an intercooler, cause more boost at low rpm equals more IATs overall.
