From Eurocharged Tune to MHD
Just curious if I need to take my N54 into Eurocharged to have them untune the DME or if I can just reflash with MHD and it will be alright. When I originally asked Eurocharged about getting the car untuned they said I would have to bring into their shop and pay $100CAD+hst to have the car untuned. I sent them an email later on in the month asking if I would be able to just reflash the DME with MHD to avoid my 2-hour drive to their dealer and received no reply. If anyone knows anything about this please let me know. Again, I would like to know if I can just reflash the DME without getting the car untuned by Eurocharged first.

I reflashed over GIAC locked flash, it is no issue, you just won't be able to back it up if it is a locked tune, but you can write over it just fine.
You won't have a backup, but if you need to go back to stock MHD will pull a stock BMW version to match your hardware to go back to stock, so no worries there if you ever need also.
