Help with strut tower bolt just spinning, and not tightening

I just tried to install a strut tower brace on my 335, but it doesn't really fit even with spacers. When I installed the strut tower bolt back on, it wouldn't tighten. It will just spin. Any idea on how I go about getting it tightened, so I can tourque it back down? Thanks.

I really hope you didn't take the actual strut bolt off.
That would be bad.

Yeah, that would be bad if you're talking about the nut that screws onto the shock bolt that's protruding out from the middle of the strut tower. The only way to put that nut back on is to use an impact wrench since the bolt is not stabilized from rotating.

Although I'm not sure why you would have removed it to install a strut tower brace.
