Faulty AC after recall?
Hi all. I usaully follow the Fxx forum but thought you would be more help!
My old man has an E90 and recently gone into BMW for a recall (heater control sensor i think) and now seems to be Blowing warm air out of the driver side vents when the A/C is on? its currently in with BMW see they can have a look but so far say the fault isn't their's. any advice on moving forward with BMW or a possible causes for the issue ? Thanks |

When mine went in for the battery cable recall.
I ended up getting a new fan motor and new heater control panel BMW actually paid for it all.

Well BMW don't seem to think that the issue was with tnem but I think its abit of a coincidence that the car went in for a recall on a heater control an now the A/C isn't working

I had something similar when I disconnected and reconnected the climate control unit, kept blowing warm air even when it should have been cold, never actually figured it out but after disconnecting/reconnecting a few times it came back cold (each time the connections were fully in), then I never touched it again!
