Got hit at the dealership

brought my car to the dealership last Thursday to check on my headlights.
Received a call from my service adviser on Friday afternoon saying that my headlight angle had been adjusted (the good news) and also got hit at the front bumper. (Fxxk)
I have been thinking about the m-tech kit for a long ass time, and now I got a chance.
What should I do?

Lame.

Go M-Tech!

Is their insurance covering the damage? It would be cool if you could work something out along the lines of covering a portion of the new kit.

The other driver's insurance will cover the cost for my original bumper but then I guess there is still a big price gap between m-tech kit and the original bumper isn't it?

I think the E90 M-Tech kit can be had for around $1000 (unpainted) from Tischer. Are you going to get the entire kit or just the front bumper? If you're getting the whole kit I'm sure it'll be quite a difference as I can't imagine the stock front bumper being more than like $350 or so (unpainted).

i heard the oem front bumper for a C-class is roughly $650 unpainted.
Don't know if it costs that much for a bimmer.
If it is, only $400 difference there.
But how about painting and installation?

I honestly have no idea how much the front bumper is for the sedan, but I do know it's around $350 for the coupe (Tischer/dealer).

Here's the link for the kit on Tischer: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...gid=4462&tab=1

I paid about CAD1400 for full paint and R&R of my kit including the M3 spoiler. I'm sure you can find a better deal than this locally, but in my case, this was the most convenient at the time. If you are comfortable with installing the kit yourself that would save you even more money.
