Hey chaps, I'm using a SVEN2

I have a 10" sub running off a monoblock amp. The SVEN2 provides RCA and remote for the amp. I tapped into the subs under the seat for the input signal into the SVEN2. The underseat subs in my car are powered off the HU.

Problem is that the SVEN keeps turning on even though the radio is off. It looks like it turns off when I lock the car, but as soon as I unlock the car it turns on.

Has anyone experienced this before?

That LOC has signal sensing to activate the remote of the aftermarket amp and the way that the OEM HU works is exactly like you describe: it will have a very small signal at the outputs even when the actual OEM HU is "off" under certain conditions (opening the doors/trunk, some 20 minutes after shutting the car off).

This behavior is normal.

Thanks Technic. You are correct about opening the doors etc. When you open a door there is an electronic sound that comes from the car. Can I assume that once the car is locked, the LOC will stay off, ie: no signals will come from the HU outputs?
