I recommend you check with a board sponsor dealer like Adrian adriansbmw@gmail.com for an ED deal, which is usually ED Invoice + ~$1K or so. You'll save some $$ and get to tour Bavaria

Depends on how long you stay and what you do. Some people do a kneel down and fly in pick up the car, drop off the car, and fly back all in the same day. Some people stay a week and drive the autobahn, Alps, drink good German beer and see the castles (not in that order). All up to you.

Check out this link for more ED info: http://www.bimmerfest.com/wiki/index...opean_Delivery
And this one for more info and the Lufthansa 2-for-1 discounted airfare tickets: http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...y/Default.aspx You can take the trip and still save a few $$ over what you would pay a local dealer, and get to drive your new car on the Autobahn

my msrp for 09-335 I / e-93 Blk Sapphire / coral red .cold weather,prem/sports package, steptronic, paddle shifter, comfort access I pod and usb with destination charge came to $58,050.00 , CA offered me the car for $ 55,705.00. and we made the deal. I don't know if I could have done better if I played hard ball, I never made any offers of $1000.00 over invoice because I was on the phone with another dealer regarding an 08-E 93 which he had in stock around mid August I thought I could save a good buck on the 08 because the 09's would be here in a few months he told me $500.00 below MSRP. Thats when I ordered the 09 and was surprised with the price of $55,705.00 Don't really know if I could have done better, but I just want the car so bad.Hoping for mid Oct.

Anything more that $1000 off MSRP on an 09 Vert is a good deal unless you do an ED. Then you can get between $1k and $1.5k over ED invoice from some dealers.
