FMIC Question

I see the Ultimate FMIC thread's 32 pages now and going up.....brought this to mind:

Which FMIC has CARB [California Air Resources Board] approval?

Can't pass smog w/o that.

I am FBO jb4/MHD bef pushing 18 psi and have no complaints with the mishimoto. It was easy to install too, only took about 25 minutes.

Intercooler can mess with your smog test??? Is it for the actual test or just the visual test?

Never knew that but I have a 7” fmic and passed smog last few years while living in Cali.

Nothing lacking CARB approval is allowed. FMIC's not something a mech would see right away but, say, a charge pipe w/Tial blowoff valve would stand out....

But if a non-compliant FMIC's noted, California law says it's gotta be failed. Snap!
