E93 Glove Box Latch
Hi guys
Wondering if you can help me figure out what's wrong with the latch for my glove box in my E93. The latch is basically stuck so you cannot open the glove box (even by turning the key anti-clockwise). I did manage to open the glove box with a flathead screwdriver and putting it behind the latch and releasing something. I've removed the latch and will post pictures below. I think it's something to do with the lack of something to move the metal bit in the last pic but I'm not sure what. I couldn't find a good picture of what should be there. Cheers |

Tough to tell, but it looks like there’s at least one broken plastic piece there.

FWIW the latch was broken, not the mechanism behind it. I ended up just buying a new glove box lock for an E90/E91/E92 for £15 on ebay and using that, doesn't have the overcomplicated motor inside it so now not worried about my stuff getting locked in there again.
