M3 Control Arms installed.. Is this normal?
Hi all,
I installed m3 front control arms on my e92. It was fairly straight forward torqued down while under load. Just went for a quick spin around the block to test but the steering feels really unstable like the steering wheel is wanting to throw itself in either direction. It's just way out of alignment i'd imagine? Is this normal after installing these? Booked in for alignment but not till Saturday. |

You have changed toe, making it squirrely. Generally it's the only front end adjustment unless you you have camber plates or pull the strut alignment pins. Hey, post an alignment sheet! |

There's some info somewhere about how many turns you need to turn the steering rods out (or in) to roughly dial out/in the faulty toe after changing to M3 arms. Worked nicely for me until alignment was done.
