Very impressive... It would be the only version I would insist on as the A8 is just far too bland.

Mmmkay. I'd take an M850i xdrive gran coupe over this, though. Same acceleration numbers, but starts 20k lower and has fresher styling unlike the S8 which has the same generic understated Owdi styling they had for quite a few years now.

Thanks for posting this! My wife and I want a A8L desperately but can't justify it with our current stable. We fell in love after taking one for a drive last year. About killed my desire to drive my Z4C with its harsh ride, but apples to oranges I guess. May have to wait for this one to come down in price, heck just for the rear light scheme alone. Haven't been able to find a S8 to test locally yet.
