Which battery post to attach amp power wire ??
I'm installing two amps to power my three way front stage and 12" subs. Im going to power it all from the battery in the trunk. I'm wondering where to attach my 0 gauge power wire to tho ?? Recommendations?? I took a pic of the two possible locations on the battery. Which location is recommended? Thanks !

The stuff you are pointing at is a fusible link array.
The other is the BST line. You don't want to overload it, of blow the BST. electical e90 pdf http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...,d.cGU&cad=rja http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...85464276,d.cGU http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...85464276,d.cGU I would use and eyelet ring right of the tightening screw on the battery lug . Some people get a connector that plugs into one of the blank connector positions on top of the battery distribution block but you have to know that amps of that position for the fusible link. https://technicpnp.com/product/hifi-harness-xd-kit/ Notice the blue connector on the power wire. though if you are using 0 gauge wire the battery lug would be safer remember to use the appropriate inline fuse. I'll def avoid using either of them. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
I have a bunch of brass eyelet rings that I can use. Do you have a pic of where I should attach it ?? (I've already installed my speakers up front, so just the amps are left. I've upgraded the Big3 so just the Zapco amps are left. I've got a Mosconi DSP as well ) Thanks !! EDIT: I just saw the link you attached and I see the tightening screw. All good ! Thanks !! |

All the sub installs I've seen thus far use the one I circled. This is what I'm currently using and have had no problems so far
