Looks like you're going for a CTR clone kind of route. Engine plans?

When you said CTR engine and trans, I was kind of hoping you meant the K20C1 lol

But you can’t go wrong with a B series engine in an EK.

I think a rough estimate of what I have in it so far (including the price of the car) is about $5500

I've gotten some very good deals and also over paid for a few things I.e the front grille

lol cool,
that grill looks EXACTLY like the grill i bought for my 1st gen TSX
It was an authentic Mugen front grill for TSX I bought from ebay japan, took me 2 months and $$$ but was worth the look

I think u got an awesome deal, or lots of DIY will save u much money
if I can get a healthy B series + EK9 hatch w/ decent champion white repaint under $15,000, Im gonna start looking for a non-rusted shell.

Honestly finding a non modified ek hatch was the hardest part. That's why I resorted to buying from the junk yard

This is rad. Nothing like an EK hatch to tickle my nostalgia nerve!

It's crazy that a junkyard has cleaner Honda than you can find on the used car market.
