On October 19, 2008 BMW CCA LA Chapter will host the last auto-x of the season at CA Speedway. We had a great time last event thanks to beautiful weather and lots of track time.

The Club is a 100% volunteer organization. We can't do it without your enthusiastic support. This is a great opportunity to get involved at a grass roots level and to make our program even better.

This is a great event and is a safe, easy and FUN way to get into high performance driving. Over half of the participants at the last event had never been to any sort of driving event before. Noobs are enthusiastically welcomed!!

Unfortunately, due to a lack of pre-registration and a shortage of volunteers, the next event has been cancelled. Hopefully we can re-energize the auto-x program for next year. Moreover it is my sincere hope that we can keep the club focused on driving events next year.

Bummer. I have only autocrossed my 335i once..but it was fun. I use to autocross a lot in 2000..and 2001 in my Audi S4. My issue is spending all day there..for like 3-4 runs of 60 seconds. I was the most comfortable running with the NASA autocross at Marina CA when they had fun runs in the middle of the day..and at the end. I remember getting like 20 runs one time. THAT was worth it.
