Has anyone recently purchased carbon fiber mirror caps off eBay? There's two prominent styles (for prelci e92), stock style that is taped on and a fake m3 style that clips in the stock location.

I'd prefer the stock style and would probably glue them on for a permanent fix. But I heard the fit is off. I'm not in love with the fake m3 set for a number of reasons.

So has anyone tried them recently and if so how the fitment on either, but preferably the stock style.

I recently purchased the CF M3 style clip on, fitment was perfect, I love the way they look

I would get the one that replaces the stock one rather than the add-on. Most of them clip onto the caps rather well. I had a set. Realize though, that most of the CF ones sold on ebay are just vinyl rather than true CF molds. Dunno if that matters much, but just FYI.
