tire pressure monitoring system question

hi. just want to clearify one thing. 2007+ 3ers have a direct TPMS right? and 2006 has Indirect TPMS. does the 07+ have the sensor in the wheel?
and if i have 06 bimmer, can i install a set of oem 335i sports rims/tires? will there be any problem with TPMS?

yes 06 should take any wheel since it compares wheel rotations.

so, 06 3'ers can take 07 or 08 3'er rim+wheels with NO tire pressure problem although the TPMS is different, is that right?
