Downpipe O2 sensor fried

So I’m reinstalling my turbos and I took my stock downpipes off and the cats were blown Andalusia my o2 sensors were black. Also, one of my o2 sensors was literally burnt to a crisp, as you can see in the image attached.

My question is what could’ve caused that?

Thanks, josh

The motor was running really lean....and really hot!! Lucky it didn't cook anything else. Running the stock tune, or something custom?? How did your turbos look??

Now that i think about it, i had to get the ecu reset because there was a botched stage 1 tune on there that got corrupted and caused a bunch of problems, maybe the culprit??
