19" from E92 ->E60

Hi guys

Just a quick question from the cold north!

I am getting rid of my Breyton Race GT 19", and a friend of mine who drives a 5-series (E60) is considering to buy them.

The dimensions on the wheels are as follows:

8,5 x 19 (235/35/19) and 9,5 x 19 (265/30/19)

Will they fit an E60? I know he has to mount some spacers on them... but what about the diameter and the visual look...?

Anyone?

/Henrik

The e60 will need low offset wheels, so depending on your rear wheel offset, he may need a 10-20mm spacer in the rear, and most likely a 20mm spacer in front. Make sure the spacers are hubcentric as well, and you'll be fine.

Thanks for your answer, Ty!

I am not concerned about the fitting - with spacers they will fit without any problems.

It is actually the wheeldiameter with these tires that bothers me. Normally you would recommend 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 with 19" for the E60... but does it make that much of a difference, if it is 235/35/19 and 265/30/19?

The 235/265 combo will not look good on such a big car like the E60.
