Big Brake Kit - brake bias query
Hi,
Looking to get some advice on a big brake kit. I know what size I will be going for on the front - 356mm x 32mm. My question is what size I should be going for on the rear? My options are 330mm x 32mm OR 356mm x 32mm. The difference in cost is only £80. My concern is if I were to go for the 356 on the front and rear, would it adversely affect my brake bias? My car is an E92 330i. Stock brakes are (330mm Front & 336mm Rear). Thanks in advance. |

So am I. Stock brakes for my 335i are only 348mm front and 336mm rear!
I did have a Porsche once that had the same set up front and rear. I can't remember the disc diameter but it had 4 pot calipers all around with huge for the time vented discs and stopped on a sixpence. You expect a Porsche to go fast but the brakes were unbelievable |

Pretty common with BMW's. My E90 330D ran 330mm front and 336mm rear. F series run 340mm front 345mm rear. Doesn't tell you the full story though so don't get hung up on it.
Go with 356mm on the front. Won't affect your brake bias in any meaningful way. |
