For what it's worth my vgate iCar Pro Bluetooth 4.0 did not give me access to all menus using bimmercode (the same adaptor gave me access to all menus in my F30)

I ended up buying a lighting to OBD cable and use bimmercode that way (and it is much much faster)

Hope this helps a bit

I use MHD (orange) wireless, it works with Bimmercode, Protool and MHD. Not for all models. If I knew about Protool coding I would have went with them, they have more options.

What i have seen Protool can code what Bimmercode can. I was talking to Bimmercode for months trying to get them to enable expert mode for CTM module so i could code in using top with key fob (non comfort access). While they kept saying next update they will, they never did. Protool has this option. Thats one example. I personally think Protool is better supported and have great facebook group.

Long story short, i never coded my roof since i wasnt paying for another coding app for that. If i had Protool it would be a done deal.

Me
"Can you add some options in expert mode. Trying to set my key to be able to open convertible top. It has been done but missing the options in this app. Thanks.

CAS MODULE:
KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB
FH_KOMFORTF_MIT_SUBST

CTM MODULE:
KOMFORT_OEFFNEN_FBD
KOMFORT_LADE_POSITION
KOMFORT_SCHLIESS_FBD
SCHEIBEN_ANHEB_OEFF_FBD
SCHEIBEN_ANHEB_SCHL_FBD

NFRM MODULE:
SPIEGEL_KOMFORT_EINKLAPP or ASP_KOMFORT_EINKLAPP"

Bimmercode
"Hi,
I will enable expert mode for the CTM module with one of the upcoming updates."

Me
"Hi, was just wondering any update on this. There has been two updated but still no expert mode. Thanks."

Bimmercode
"Hi,
will be available with the next update."

Me
"Hi, I can't get into CTM expert mode. Is this something that is going to happen? Thanks."

Bimmercode
"Hi,
expert mode is not available for the CTM, sorry."

Me
"Could we get the CTM option listed so we can use the remote for the top than? They have it on Protools but I don't want to pay their coding fee when I already paid for this one. Thanks."

Bimmercode
"Hi,
we will enable the expert mode for this control unit with the next app update."
