would really love to know how to code in CARPLAY and SCREEN MIRRORING.

hi, i have no exp with carplay and screen mirroring, but the best tool/app for coding a BMW is by far bimmercode! you can sign up as a beta user and get access to the expert mode which gives you way more options. check YouTube and Google

Protool with MHD wireless adaptor. Best way to go and their facebook help page is very active. I have Bimmercode but Protool is the superior app.

What year and model is your bmw? Carplay and screen mirroring are only for 2017+ BMW's, can't be enabled on E chassis cars. Carplay is enabled via fsc, can't be done with coding. Screen mirroring can be coded on 2017+ but only works on android phones, it's called miracast. I hear you can screen mirror on iPhone but requires jail broken iPhone and a specific app you gotta get online, never tried it myself but you can find some info on it online. In terms of coding apps in general if you don't want to use laptop software, I recommend protools for E chassis cars. It can do pretty much anything ncs expert and tool32 can do which is nice if you wanna do retrofits and stuff that Bimmercode or Carly don't offer.

No protool and bimmercode cost money. I believe there is free software for the laptop to code with but i dont have any experience with them.
