is it hard to replace the gearbox?
would i be able to do this myself? just remove old, put new one in, is it hard?

anyone has done this? advice?
how long it takes? possible? diffuculity?

For starters it's going to be bloody heavy!

If you are even considering this then you`ll probably be able to do it given enough time.

Don`t know how much of the car you have to take apart. There must be threads on here with people having done it, have you searched?

It all depends on how much experience you have and your tool set. At a minimum you need a floor jack, 4 tall jackstands, a concrete floor and several days. You'll need a transmission jack too.
