07 with pccb(s) seems really cheap to be honest.
i am all over 6speed and seeing 06s with much higher mileage with less options go for that. Want to check out history (paint check etc.).
If all checks out this is a steal.....

Thanks. The car has checked out as clean with no ghosts.

I thought the price looked good. I just read a bunch of reviews on the 07 S and they all were great.

And with times being what they are I am fairly sure I could get it for even less with a bit of negotiating. 65K would be nice.

WOW! thatsunbelivable price for an S with that low miles and model yr.
When I was contemplating between on an used 911 this year, I best I can come up with for that price was a 2006-S-31k miles

hymm this economy is producing some real good buys

I was contemplating between a 911 C2S, and went for the E92 M3 instead due to the boot space You can hardly fit in 5 or 6 bags of Tesco's shopping

With the rear seats down, that is what my Mini is for.

I think the 911 will hold it's value well too. And the fact that I have always wanted one.

like i said that is a GREAT price.
just checked the pricing and it's not even going for that low in the dealer auctions. I wonder what is the story behind this one. Somebody just had to give it away due to economY/

if all looks good get it before it's gone.

^ It is a solid car. No hiccups. The thing is, the uncertainty of the market has me on the sidelines. If my business accounts dry up much more I could be looking at nothing. Hopefully housing prices will near bottom soon and money will start flowing again. My business relies on home sales.

not surprised.. Porches and Merc always have bad resell value. they are real expensive cars when new, but dont worth %$@% when used.

Gonzo, I looked at several (online ) similar cars here in Florida. I've seen a few nice comparable low mileage cars, under 7000 miles, but all of them are going for ten to fifteen thousand more than your example.

No i think the porsche first 2-3 year drops most of the value but after that big drop it holds better than most...

You are correct.
He/she is obviously misinformed.
And yes the price is very strong.

Thats a STEAL buy it. Buy the car because you want it not because you want to sell it later. If thats the case just wait a few months and lease one.

That's news to me and the rest of the world. Porsche holds a very strong resale value, especially on older models.

SL55 is blistering fast. My uncle used to have one. I took it out once, that car was too insanely fast. Traction control kept on lighting-up. It scarred me. But I like 911 S. Since the introduction of this body style, I fell in love with it again.

My Porsches have always been 100% reliable even when I had to use them as daily drivers. Scheduled maintenance has long intervals inbetween (20K for oil) but is pretty expensive.

Is that the picture of the car you'd described? If it is, I don't see even a hint of the tell-tale yellow calipers that indicate that it has the ceramic brakes (which are going to cost you BIG time to replace when they wear). I don't see the Chrono timer bump on the dashboard either.

For the car you'd described, it's a great deal.

First and foremost, always do a PPI by an outside mechanic.

Second, I believe the word today is to never buy a Benz new today. They depreciate to incredibly quick.

And I still don't think it has Sports Chrono either. Maybe they'll up the price even more.
