Bimmercode idrive to hifi
Dear all.
I would really welcome some advice. I have the base audio set up in my 2009 E93. The HU is a CiC Professional, with widescreen sat nav. I've carried out a speaker and sub upgrade, all powered by an amp. Happy with the install, but not the sound. Very mid and treble driven. Disappointed with it tbh. During my search for a resolution to this, I was advised to recode my idrive Pro Nav from stereo to hifi? I have Bimmercode, and been told this cant do it, I need the dealer, or some other software? If Bimmercode can do it, is there a how to guide? I understand expert mode can mess things up used wrongly? I've looked on this forum for a how to, with no luck. I'm in Plymouth, Devon. Any and all help (or reposting to a more specific forum) would be appreciated. Ian |

If you want to get an app that does allow coding I use ProTool. Just yesterday swapped my MULF2 for MULF2-HI so I can plug a USB in. Did all the coding using ProTool without needing to get my laptop out.
It's not as functional as Standard Tools but it's pretty close. I've got stacks of different apps but if I were to only have one then it would be ProTool, it makes bimmercose and carly pretty much redundant. https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...hl=en_GB&gl=US |

I used bimmercode and it worked for me you need to go into expert mode on your headunit part and I think you select AUDIO_SYSTEM_VAR and select Hi-FI takes a few seconds to do
