Painted Interior Trim

so last week i got my dark burl walnut wood trim painted the same color as my car Black Sapphire Metallic. i still need to get it wet sanded and polished but it looks awesome in the day or night! here are some quick shot. all comments welcome

You should've done the interior in Piano Black.. It looks a little too sparkly in the Black Sapphire for my taste.

You didnt use your existing trim? Hmmm I wonder if it would be worth doing a DYI... somebody did it to their window trim, spray painted it.. looked pretty good, better than the matte black vinyl... hmmm hmmm

some are easy like the one on the doors but others are a bit hard like the center console ones. mr.5 did a diy http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137527

Definitely different but not bad. I would have to see it in person but it does not look to be over the top. Having Sapphire myself, I know how the color changes in different lighting. I would have preferred piano black or jet black, but if you like it, that's all that counts.

Yeah the trim with A/C vents suck to take apart. I was going to paint mine too but I just got carbon fiber instead. Your trim looks great!
