BMW closing a factory

a friend of mine told me that bmw is closing a factory due to decreased sales of 15% and they are closing a factory.... whats really going on.

They are temporarily closing the Leipzig Plant in Germany for one week...the last week in Oct.The Plant makes the 1 and 3 Series.The reason is to soak up excess volume in the system.Cars are just not selling like they were even 12 months ago...worldwide Financial meltdown.Thanks! PalBay
