jb3 1.1v @ the track

had my 1st chance to test out the 1.1v map at the track this last friday. what a huge improvement in the lower end pull over the initial release map which is very noticeable on track out! kudhos to terry!

nice video, but editing it with music was not needed!!! I would have enjoyed hearing the engine roar than that corny music!!!

Was that a GT3 (yellow) that you P0wned, and then a Turbo (silver) that returned the P0wn? What about the silver convertible looking car at the end?Looks like neither of you were pulling on the other.

Also, on the new second vid...surprised about the pull the Cayman put on you at 1:50. You beat him in the turns, which is not what I would predict at all for a JB3 335 vs a Cayman (S, I assume)

i don't recall if the yellow porsche was a gt2 or 3 in the first vid. i do remember that darker silver turbo though.. he was really fast and was on my ass for a few turns before the pass. i think the last car in the second vid was a boxster s vert, he wouldn't let me by for the first lap

the cayman s in the 2nd video had asked me to film him for a few laps so i didn't bother with a pass coming out of that turn your referring too. after the 3rd lap or so i pulled away pretty easy. he actually came over after that session and commented on how fast my car was and asked what i had done in regards to tuning. he was pretty shocked that this bimmer had that much go.

yah had to give up. sticking with the jb3 which has been solid for me. terry has been outstanding with service as well. did you end up keeping your car james?

I still have my car. Probably going to keep it for a while, although I have dreams of a E46 M3 with a HPF stage 3 kit. I think my wife wants a Mini which kills that dream

i was thinking about an e46 with a supercharger or turbo myself.
not sure what a stage 3 kit is, but u tell me:
how much whp??? and how much $$$ for the stage 3 kit??

thanks and glad you enjoyed it. just running jb3 with a bmc drop-in in regards to power. mostly focused on handling though i would love to have that new AE quad cat-back!

We have similar setup Direzza Z1 SS / kw v2 / lightweight wheels..

Do you have both front and rear HR sways? hows the improvement on the track at PR?
