Cig lighter is dead

Hey guys i went to charge my phone today and noticed my cig lighter is dead...a dime got stuck in there today and i got it out...idk if that caused a fuse to blow or something? How can i fix this without going to the deal?

most likely the fuse, same happened to me a few months ago....

I'm 99% sure you blew the fuse, the dime probably shorted it out. The fuse box is right behind the glovebox, just twist the two plastic knobs perpendicular to how they are and the plastic piece should come out. In the back of it is a fuse chart, use it to find the cig lighter fuse and then check the corresponding fuse. The fuse box has a fuse removal tool, and some spares. Shouldn't take you more than a couple of minutes.

yeah the first thing i did was check the fuse box but that little sheet had no symbol that looked like a cig lighter... anyone know the number?

It's the one with a + and - and a symbol in between.
