Which oil catch can you got??
Anyone running these Amazon catch cans??
It's only $24, yet has 4.5 stars @ 1,700 reviews? What makes a Radium, BMS, Turner or ECS catch can better?? (and justify $180?) Anyone running these or something similar? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XK9PTP7..._V9a2Fb995X9DP |

It'll probably work just as well as any of the "brand" names, as long as it's machined well. Hose bung hole threads and waste oil cup threads... if those are poorly machined it'll just be a PITA. Assuming they're ok with so many positive reviews.
With that said, these types of cans that work on boost/high side really aren't worth the effort and cost. They catch practically nothing. What you want is to externalize the PCV and use the Mishimoto can on the vacuum/low side. This is where you spend the majority of the time while driving and it will be much more effective. Google "RB external PCV" for more info, and get the can that is suggested for that system - it works. |

Is this for the M3 that you have listed? Totally go for it, and post results on the M3 forum

Not too many people run them on the S65, so I wanted to ask the hot blood turbo crowd about build quality and efficiency of these amazon ones. I'll definitely post the results though! I'm still shocked at the markup of the ECS and Turner units... Has anyone else installed one of these Amazon ones? |

This is for the n54 which is turbocharged my dude, you're NA. You're asking n54 guys about the s65, we got no answer for you. From what I saw you guys don't even have a dedicated catch can, others have just jimmied it up.

Ya I know NA engines may not see as much benefit from a CC, yet the ones that have them installed, still drain oil/liquid out of them.
Thanks for answering my question though - the Mishi CC has a finer mesh. |

I just have the BMS vacuum side oil catch can. Catches a ton of oil. Majority of the time the car is under vacuum when you're idling and cruising so it helps to have one. I also purchased a high side oil catch can that sits on the passenger side from ECS, but its backordered until March so Ill need to cancel that and look for something else.

Many of the ones on the market (that aren't custom) work about the same as they typically are (just rebranded).
Here are a couple I made for my cars and work excellent.

I do like my RB external setup. I don't run a high side currently because the amount of oil caught while running an external low side setup is minimal.

That's weird, I barely catch anything from my bms high side catch can but my rb external low side needs to be emptied about every 500-700 miles or so.

Most of the time you're in vacuum when cruising that's why it catches a lot of oil. I only have a low side catch can, but will install high side later when I upgrade my turbos.
