I’m looking for some answers on a possible headlight swap.

To put it simply, I have a pre LCI with xenons. I want to swap for LCI headlights.

As LCI halogens seem to be cheaper on ebay, is it possible to get a set of LCI halogen headlights and simply swap all the xenon internals over?

I have searched, but keep getting threads where people have converted to xenon and needed additional wiring, modules etc. Whereas theoretically I wouldn’t need any. I would just like to know if all mounting points inside the headlight are the same on both pre LCI/LCI and halogen and xenon.

So do pre LCI and LCI have the same internal mounting points?

Any info would be appreciated.
