Many late-model BMWs like the E90/E92 3 Series, Z4, M roadster, M coupe, and E46 M3 are not equipped with a spare tire from the factory. While the M Mobility System works in most cases, it is not always 100% reliable depending the type of tire damage you have; and it often adds expense when replacing the damaged tire. Cars like the E90/E92 3 Series, Z4 and certain E46 3-series include run-flat tires - which avoids the mobility kit - but the performance of the RFT is less than ideal.

The solution is simple: use a BMW Space Saver Spare. Using a Space Saver Spare allows you to refrain from using the M mobility system and also allows you to replace your run-flat tires with performance tires. The Space Saver tire uses an OEM BMW space saver wheel and a Continental spare tire in the correct size. The wheel is the correct offset and bolt pattern to clear the front and rear brake calipers on the E46 M3, M coupe, M roadster, Z4, all variations of the E90 & E92 3 Series* and all E46 3-series cars without any interference.

*E90 and E92 328, 330, 335, and Z4m cars require the Space Saver Spare Fitment Kit which consists of one Rogue Engineering wheel spacer and five longer lug bolts. This will be included with the sale.

I will also include a tire tote to keep your trunk clean and keep other items from rubbing against the tire. The picture in this thread of the tire tote in the trunk is a picture of the exact combo that you are getting in my 328i coupe. This should give you an idea, exactly how space is left over in your trunk.
