how to remove negative terminal on battery?

how do you remove the negative terminal, do i just remove the small nut then pull up the terminal? thanks

Loosen up the small nut and just pull straight up...Then get a small towel or something and put it over the negative terminal and your set!

Yes; you may have to carefully wiggle the negative terminal to get it off though. Obviously, be careful...I never like touching that battery but if you do it carefully, you'll be ok.
