Where and/or What is the issue that is forcing these android units to use the AUX? Xtron doesn't mention the need for AUX with the CIC units by the way and even mentions the fiber optic and H/K. I've watched many of the install videos and each one seems to leave some wires dangling and unused at the end of the install.

I think all the android screens use aux, I was going to go with a android screen from bayern mods in derby for my e90 with no i drive, and was told by them that if my aux never worked they couldn't guarantee it working. My aux has'nt worked since I got the car.Il need to keep lookin for a better solution

Don't they have MOST adapters to work without? Not too sure how that works though. I've been shopping for one of these head units but every thread I go into about them, people inevitably bring up audio issues

Not sure think there just piggybacking on the aux somehow, ive seen a few people saying after installing some of their speakers arn't working or work intermittently, they do look the part but I dont think the technologys in most of the 1s ive seen for sale

This is why I'm scared to pull the trigger. With the set up I want, it's probably gonna run me about 5-600 USD. Definitely dont wanna run into these issues once all is said and done.

Im in the uk and theres a few companys here that can supply and install these for around £400-600 I would of thought in the US there should be some companys offering the same, just if you find someone check everything over that could possibly go wrong before you pay, im trying to sort a soluction for my aux then im going to pull the trigger and get 1, the 1 im looking at is this it seams to be the best 1 I can find

Yeah I'd really like one as well but worried i'd spend the money and something stop working, think I'd buy the warranty and then they can fix the shit that breaks. Then again I could spend the money on a remap
