E93 335i - New Battery

Hi All,

I got the car with a cruddy non oem battery which was too small (50ah) which I replaced with a Exide 70ah lead acid battery 8 months ago.

The Exide is defective so will be going back and I want to get an AGM battery as close to oem spec as possible.

Would this battery be suitable: https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/exide/ek950/

Thanks!

Varta were the OE supplier, so if you want close to OE that's probably where you should look.

Other than that, yes, I believe the battery you posted is correct. It's the biggest size that could be fitted to the car though.

Cheers pal, ordered it and it should be with me tomorrow.

Now the fun of fitting it.

+1

Code and register; coding to tell the car it has the correct (to the battery) spec of battery, and register to tell it that it has a new battery. 2 minute job with protool.
