Need help updating DME for 335is

The main reason I need help is because my monitors for Catalyst and O2 are still incomplete even with doing several drive cycles and driving over 500 miles. I suspect my DME needs to be updated/reprogrammed. Is there a way to find out if it does and should this fix the readiness issue? Also, I currently have MHD installed but it's flashed back to stock map.

I just installed BMW Tools and have the cable ready.

If you have Standard Tools and the daten installed just update the DME with Winkfp.

If you dont have them yet go to bimmergeeks and download. You'll use the coding tool to update everything with the datens. Search YouTube for video.

Your DME is not a Microsoft PC that's need an update to fix the problems created by the last update.

A new BMW flash will likely not fix anything. Certainly nothing emissions related.

Some have stated this fixed their readiness issues. I think MHD causes it but not sure. I've had incomplete since October and drive cycles aren't doing anything.

Is your exhaust completely stock? On your stock mhd tune, did you go to the map config area and uncheck catalyst?

Yeah it's stock. I didn't go into any options or check/uncheck any boxes when I flashed.

Umm MHD defaults to downpipes without cats unless you check catted downpipes. Guessing you havent removed MHD completely and only running stock map in mhd?

Yup. And that's weird since i'm pretty sure I passed emissions 2 years ago with MHD.

So I basically need to flash to stage 1 and back to 0 or can I reflash 0 with the box checked?

What a pain!! All because of not checking this stupid box lol. I drove 3 nights in a row and did multiple drive cycles each night. I was starting to lose faith after the second night. I had done around 6 drive cycles and still had 4 incomplete. Tonight I did 2 cycles and they finally completed except O2 is still incomplete but I should still be able to pass

Nice, yeah I don't know why its default to not have OEM parts but good to hear you can get thru emissions.
