How hard was it for y'all to install headers on a n52 and what kind did you go with? Thanks

It was harder than you would guess, it took me like 8 hours on jackstands. It’s not complicated and you don’t need any special expertise, but it’s just time consuming. I definitely recommend you don’t tackle it alone it’s nice having someone working from the top side while the other guy works from under the car.

I installed the AA Catless headers on mine.

Yeah 8 hours sounds about right. The hardest part is reinstalling the o2 sensorsand getting everything torqued up. The catless aa headers made it a little more difficult since both of the o2 sensors are now in the downstream.

Quite a pita. I'd say the easiest way to do it is remove all o2 sensors, remove coolant expansion tank and get yourself a very slim electric ratchet to undo all nuts. Biggest issue for me was getting the old manifolds out from the bottom of the car

After doing the job several times, I got it down to couple of hours. It’s not difficult at all if you have right tools.
