n54 torque characteristic
How do you feel a torque in the stock N54 ? Is it linear (like in supercharged engine) or there is a moment when you feel the torque kick ? Does the car feel quicker due to the torque kick than it really is ?
Generally cars with linear torque characteristic (for example Audi S4 B8) feel slow compared to the acceleration times. |

It's a lot more linear in stock form, but tuned there's certainly a swift kick when the torque comes in.

To me the N54 with stock turbos feels more like a car with a supercharger on it as far as torque goes. Nice and steady pull through the rpms, and the torque comes on at a really low RPM. I'm sure if you went with a big single turbo, it would have more lag, and be a little more "Soft" on the low end, and then build torque when the RPM's start to build.
I love the low-end grunt from these N54's with twins....especially with a good e85 mix tune.
