GTR vs. M5 vs. CL63 vs. ?

I think the camera car is the M5. I can't tell what car is on the far right. If you stop it at 13 sec and look at the tail lights, it looks like a e92.

WTF is in that e92? it's hanging with the GTR practically, at least until the speeds start rising. and wow, that M5 sounds AMAZING.

it had a crazy launch, i dunno. could be a modded 335xi, or an M3 with DCT and some sort of FI kit or something.

wasn't there a thread on M3post about some sort of engine upgrade package done by an independent company?

It is actually a CL65 according to the title. 114hp more than a 63. I'd take any of the 4.

ALERT: I think the Nissan guy had launch control on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An M5 with an after market exhaust went screaming by me, out of no where, on the toll road the other day. I was casually cruising in my Mini with the windows down. He did it on purpose. Scared the crap out of me...but it sounded AWESOME.

Yeah I was right. Look at the beginning of the video. Clearly see that the Merc is next to the camera car.

yeah that's the obvious part. you can even tell by the headlights.

and the camera car is an M5. it has M5 mirrors. the car on the far right is an e92 (possibly M3).

car on the far right can no way be an m3. faster than m5?

that's the thing. it's an e92 for sure (check out the LED bars in the tailights and the overall shape), but it's gotta be a heavily modified one, regardless if it's a 335i or an m3.

I would have to guess that the E92 was a 335xi, probably with a JB3 and some other things added. It just jumped out in front, which hints to the fact that it was an AWD car. You'll notice as soon as the race starts the M5 and the Merc are a car length behind. The GTR is AWD, so I automatically assume the E92 was also.

That's how a lot of other countries are. The yellow after the red lets you know that the light is about to turn green. It's kind of like a "get ready" light.

It's to inform drivers to put their cars in gear, and it really improves traffic flow.

They're all over Germany. Didn't see them in other countries like France.

I have viewed other videos relating to that GTR and the only E92 M3 I seen was a white one which had DCT and got destroyed by everything.

I know it might have been a different day but I think it's the same GTR.

that looks like a 335 to me. it doesnt have the M3 diffuser

MMMazing I think you're right. It has the plain ol' 335i bumper with the simple line that goes horizontal. It has to be a tuned Xi.
