UK E93 LCI Window raise functions

Hi All,

I've had an E93 for quite a few years now, but recently my FRM module got bricked and I sent it away to get 'unbricked'. It came back and I refitted it, and all seemed ok, except I can't get the keyfob-lock button hold\windows fully up functionality working?

I'm sure when the lock button is pressed and any windows are not fully shut, keeping it pressed raises any lowered windows fully?

Keep me sane by replying that this is functionality that should be there, as I'm doubting myself now

My 2013 E93 doesn't have that function? Holding the open button next to the car will put the windows and roof down, but holding the lock button down does nothing to my windows.

I tried on mine today and it didn`t work - sure it used to before I started messing around to get the roof to go up as well.....

Will make an effort to go back in tomorrow and remove my roof efforts and see if windows come back

Yep, holding the open button down lowers all the windows and also opens the roof and folds it away.

I thought the close button would shut the windows, though it didnt close the roof. My previous recent Audis and VW's have all done this, so maybe getting them confused.

Anyone know if the close windows via the fob is something which is easy to code in?

Mine closes the windows when you hold down the lock button. It's an E91 tho, not sure if that makes a difference. I often us it in the summer when my passengers don't close the windows.

I had a quick play today - Carly didn`t have the option which is what I was hopping for.

Got the laptop out to do it the old fashioned way and couldn`t quickly find the bits I needed to code so gave up..

Second car just failed its MOT so going to be concentrating on fixing that for the near future.

OP or anyone, if you find/know which bits need setting to Aktiv or what not please update thread
