E92 climate control panel after CIC retrofit

Hi,

For a friend with a E92 coupe pre-LCI, I did a CCC business to CIC professional retrofit.
The retrofit itself works great, nothing to mention about that.

The only problem is the buttons at the front panels.

-
The original bottom panel only contained heated seat controls, but after fitting the new headunit. That panel didn't fit anymore.

I ordered a blanc panel at bmw without any buttons (as bmw didn't have a panel to fit over the CIC pro headunit with only heated seat control buttons) and ordered a used climate control panel (top panel) with the extra buttons to control the heated seating.

It all seemed to work, it lighted up etc etc.

But now my friend tells me that the seats doesn't heat up.

Was my thinking wrong? Do I need to code the panel or am I missing some wiring?

Thanks anyway.
