there is the sport suspension...but not sure on the M-suspension.

I'm sure others can chime in...

oh yes forgot to say that the sport package is called m-sport package in europe, hence m-suspension option which comes as standard when you get this package

The m-suspension is a bit firmer than the sports suspension.

From BMW (2005 e90):

An extra-firm BMW M sport
suspension system that
bonds the 330i even more intimately
to the road than its
standard sport suspension. It
includes –
• Firmer springs, by approximately
6% at the front and
8% at the rear
• Specially calibrated shock
absorbers: front 50% firmer
in jounce, 35% in rebound;
rear 20% firmer in jounce,
8% softer in rebound
• Larger-diameter anti-roll
(stabilizer) bars: front 23.5
mm/rear 18.5 mm, vs.
standard 18.5/18.0
• More rigid forward bushings
for the front lower suspension
arms
• 15-mm lower ride height
(compared to the standard
330i sport suspension)

It's because we don't get offered an m-sport package in the good ol US of A.

My X3 came with the M sport suspension package as an option. Besides an even stiffer ride, it has a slightly higher top speed.

The suspension is nothing like the M suspension in the M3 though.
