Misfires after replacing injector (N53)

Hello,

In a nutshell I am wondering if anyone has had any first hand experience of misfires on a cylinder with a brand new Index 11 injector when operating within a bank alongside two index 9 injectors?

The index 11 was installed after it was identified that the original injector was leaking (diagnosed by bimmerprofs). In the meantime, I installed NOXEM and identified that all of the spark plugs were Bosch ones and needed replacing with NGK. On replacing the spark plugs the misfires across all cylinders cleared up in the main. One cylinder needed its ignition coil replacing and that cleared that one. However, cylinder 2 (with its index 11 injector) was still misfiring. I have swapped ignition coils and spark plugs but cannot get the misfire to change cylinder so must be the injector?

I have read about the different calibrations between index 11 vs earlier. I've heard that it seems like it's not an issue but have some found it to be an issue? To me it "feels" like the bank is operating so as that fuel trims are averaged between the three and working satisfactorily for injectors 1 and 3. But that due to the difference in calibration cylinder 2 is operating rich or lean causing the misfire. The misfires happen only during stratified operation and under partial (low) throttle and normally a bit of load, eg going uphill. I have no error codes but I feel the misfires and the misfire counter increases on cylinder 2.

So what would you recommend?
1. Remove injector and swap with another? (Purchase seal and tool to put seals back on injectors)
2. Just go for it and buy 2 more injectors so that the whole bank is index 11?
3. Or something else?!

This car is singlehandedly ruining my mental health help!!!

Yep, replace 2 and have matching injectors on that bank i would say. The older injectors are known to have issues anyway.
