Build date 09/05 I upgraded the FRMFA module to a FRM2 module and programmed it successfully. Everything works perfectly. I load up BimmerCode as I want to set my angel eyes as the DRLS. I got in and change the appropriate settings, code and no angel eyes as DRLs. I’ve reset it a couple times and tried again but always the same result. Can someone help out with this? |

You might have better luck in the coding forum. If I remember correctly, you have to change your build date in the VO so when programming the new module, ncsexpert knows to use the appropriate updated configuration. Otherwise it's just using the old settings and won't have the options for the newer FRM.

I have the solution!
This is for anyone that already correctly programmed their FRM2 module to their car and everything works. But, when you try to set your DRL lights as Angel Eyes (I used bimmerCode) it doesn't work. Solution: Set all your front facing lights as DRL lights in BimmerCode and code it. My Angel Eyes came on. For some reason my Angel Eyes were listed as "Turn signal front" or "Front turn signal" I have both in BimmerCode. This applies to Day Time Running Lights and to Welcome Lights. Hope this helps somebody! |
