Oil Cap Breather for N52 Fit or no?

Hello,

The linked product is for the N54, it says it does not fit N52.

Does anyone understand why this does not fit the N52 engine? Thank You!

Why would you put it on an N52? It never sees boost. I mean even still for an N54... why; I mean I get the theory but yaaaa

On the engine, sure. Everything from the 316 to the M3 use the same.

Will it fit under the hood; who knows it does look tall but maybe its not actually

N52 runs like shit with the oil cap off, so i imagine a breather cap that's not tied into vac system will do the same

Looking at things a little closer, I am now worried about the clearance between the male portion and the rocker arms. I will report back if it works.

It seems to fit and work well.

I did not buy the Vargas version, the only issue was the two ears would spin independent of the housing so when you installed it, you could not remove. Good thing I was replacing the valve cover gasket. Slight modification and it is fixed.

There is some oil mist (at times) that passes thru the filter element. Are there options for filter elements that will eliminate the oil mist and keep it all under the valve cover?
