Hey guys - new account guy here.
Im losing my mind. I cant seem to find where this annoying bolt-loose-in-a-plastic-jar type sound is coming from. Could it be sway bars? I have no idea here's a video I uploaded of the noise. I recorded this by putting my phone on top of the dashboard while driving from 0-30mph. video link : https://streamable.com/yrtf48 please help ![]() Last edited by e90inNYC; 04-08-2021 at 12:43 PM.. I figured it out thanks to another user.
This nut was loose which was making all kinds of noise during driving but you cant get it to rattle by moving the car up and down via pushing. afer tightening the sound went away 100% its crazy how it sounds like its coming from the dashboard! |

Glad you found it! Noise travel is a huuuuuge headache. If it's touching something structural or even just the body in the right spot, that shit transmits way past the contact point
