Bad Ebay Oem Front Splitters

Well, I purchased a set of front splitters of ebay. They look great from far away. However, up close they have some gaps and don't flow flush with the body of my car.
What could I possibly do to fix my issue. During installation, I had tried the installation of the splitters twice to see if arranging it a specific way would change it. Any Advice? If i remove the 3m tape will I suffer any paint damage?
Any Solutions?

I bought it from carking tuning he sent me a great OEM rear spoiler. This is just a piece of crap though. I regret ever buying it and am Currently trying to get my money back.

huh this is from carking(Brad)? Wow I am surprised, the fitment is horrible. You really need to bring this up to him.

As far as removing, you don't need to worry about pealing the paint off. Just do it slow and you will be fine.

I was actually going to ask if you bought it from CarKing. He use to be a vendor on here. He's really great to deal with, so I don't see a problem getting your money back. Did you install it with 3M? If so, you shouldn't have a problem taking it off.

Just use a hair dryer to soften up the 3M tape and pull slowly.

Yeah man, Carking gave me a lip that was a little off. In the end he refunded me the money.

They don't even look like they are made for an E90 - maybe they are E92 splitters - I can't even imagine how you could make something that fit that bad without trying - it has to be the wrong part or something - get your money back and forget about trying to get them to fit, they look horrible and will never fit any better!

3m tape comes off without much residue... its actually really easy to get it off... you wont damage your paint, no worries.. i had my splitters mounted on with 3m and i removed it after a whole year and the paint underneath was perfect after i used some goo gone to clean the residue off.

Maybe if you drive really fast for a long time they will stick flush to the car.
